About the festival
SAFACH (South Asia Forum for Art & Creative Heritage), endeavours to create South Asia’s First Travelling International Film Festival titled: Indus Valley International Film Festival (IVIFF). The first edition of this ambitious Promethean event held in 2019 at New Delhi. This gala mela of art showcases films primarily from South & South-East Asian nations.
This ambitious film festival shall showcase
- Films from all South & South-East Asian nations
- Panel discussions with illustrious filmmakers from all the participating nations
- Workshops on: Script Writing, Fiction Film-making & Documentary Film-making
- Eminent film personalities from these nations would gladly welcome interactions with the visitors
About SAFACH
The core charter of SAFACH is to encourage Creative & Artistic collaborations among all the South & South-East Asian nations. Its vision is to propagate the message of peace and harmony. Cinema is, perhaps the most popular & impactful medium to facilitate this. IVIFF is a zealous attempt in this direction. It creates a networking platform for the Film Fraternity from across South-East Asia to celebrate and facilitate cinema-making among the nations which share a common linguistic, historical and cultural legacy.

South Asia Screen Network (SASN) is the first ever platform to help the film fraternity across South-East Asia to interact and network with each other and to proliferate a more prodigious relationship in the South Asian film fraternity.
After successful debut in Delhi,
the festival plans to travel to
Colombo- Sri Lanka,
Kathmandu- Nepal,
Dhaka - Bangladesh,
Kabul - Afghanistan,
Thimpu - Bhutan,
Lahore - Pakistan,
Malé - Maldives
& then to other South-East Asian nations
And later to Europe!
